Council Chamber

In 2010 Abertillery & Llanhilleth Community Council returned to the Council Chamber in Mitre Street, Abertillery - where all meetings are held.

You will see on the photos Abertillery Tapestry, directly behind the Chairman's Dais. This was worked by local disabled residents in 1989.

On the left hand side facing is the Standard of Abertillery Town Band.

On the right hand side facing is the box containing the Mayoral Chain of Office which is well over 100 years old.
